LOU ZAGO
Lou Planchand, aka Lou Zago, is born in 1990 in Toulouse. She is a freelance illustrator, comic book illustrator and livedrawer.
Self-taught, she has always drawn but did not initially choose to make it her career. After studying hospitality management, she worked for 8 years in the restaurant and hotel industry.
It was during the COVID-19 health crisis of 2020 that she started drawing again every day and considered a career change. Since then, Lou has been exploring different techniques, working for editorial, edition and communication and for all the opportunities that allow her to draw and practice her new profession. She loves drawing people, movement and nature to create lively, poetic and fun illustrations. She is inspired by everyday life and can work on a wide variety of subjects.
Also a member of the artist collective Collectif Patate, she participates and gets involved with them in exhibitions and other team projects.
Her first comic book written by Laure Garancher, "Césure", was published in January 2024 by Nathan BD.
